Tryptic Press began in 2013 as an avenue to change the perception of New England art. Seagulls and lighthouses have their place, but they should not define the region. To bring a spotlight to incredible works and artists outside of the nautical genre, Tryptic Press took on its first project: a yearly magazine, titled Chroma. Chroma highlights the work of New England artists who encompass the passion, heart, and visual esthetic that they believe truly represents the area. Since 2013, Chroma has featured over 50 artists, hosted numerous art exhibitions, and helped shape they way people experience New England art. As the "art awakening" of Chroma continued to grow, Tryptic Press expanded its services for fellow artists and small businesses. Graphic design, illustration, and custom publishing services became available under the daily stewardship of John Cardinal and his wife, Bethany Cardinal. With "You dream it - we design it" as their mantra, they continue to add services to their reperatoire ranging from Graphic and Web Design to Branding and Social Media Marketing.

John is a BFA graduate of Montserrat College of Art with a concentration in Illustration. He has worked as a professional illustrator and graphic designer for the past 20 years. From editorial to comics, trade shows to children's books, advertising to web design, greeting cards to toy design, John has a continually evolving skill set.

Bethany is a graduate of Framingham State with a degree in Communications. She has 20 years of experience as a photographer, art director, and behaviorist. Her skill set has brought her an enthusiasm and passion for the arts, a keen editor's eye, and an understanding of the principles behind effective and successful Social Media Marketing.
